What carpenters do in simulation.
We build the task in simulation. You show how it is done, correct the robot where it goes wrong and set what counts as done right. Robotics teams train their own models on the result.
Demonstrate
Show how you measure, position and fasten a piece such as trim, a cabinet or a door, and how you check it.
Correct robot mistakes
Review robot attempts and flag mistakes such as an uneven reveal, a split or a fastener in the wrong place.
Set the criteria
Define what a finished, square, flush install looks like for each task.

Can carpenters make money training AI?
Yes. This role pays $50–65/hr, depending on experience, for part-time project work on a computer. You demonstrate fitting and fastening tasks and review robot results in simulation. Scope, hours and payment terms are agreed before each project starts.
Are there remote jobs for carpenters?
Site work isn't remote, but this is. Most contributions happen on a computer. Timing and equipment depend on the project and are set out before it starts.
Will robots replace carpenters?
Not any time soon. Real job sites are uneven and nothing is quite square. Robots are learning single steps first, and what they learn is shaped by whoever teaches them.
Do I need robotics or coding experience?
No. Each project gives you the instructions and controls for the task. We need your knowledge of the work.
How do I apply?
Fill in the application. It takes about 5 minutes and asks about your experience, your hours and one mistake a beginner makes in your work that you would spot right away. When a project needs your expertise, we reach out.
