What quality inspectors do in simulation.
We build the task in simulation. You show how it is done, correct the robot where it goes wrong and set what counts as done right. Robotics teams train their own models on the result.
Demonstrate
Walk through how you inspect a part: the features you check, the gauges you use and the order.
Correct robot mistakes
Review robot inspections and flag missed defects, false rejects or measurements taken the wrong way.
Set the criteria
Write accept and reject criteria for each part, tied to the drawing and its tolerances.
What we ask for.
- 5 or more years in quality inspection in manufacturing
- Able to read drawings and GD&T. ASQ CQI or CQT is a plus
- Based in the US
- Able to explain the steps, checks and common mistakes in your work
- No robotics, simulation or coding background needed
How the work runs.
- Rate
- $50–70/hr for project work, depending on experience.
- Hours
- Part-time. You tell us how many hours a week you can give when you apply.
- Where
- Remote. Most contributions happen on a computer. Timing and equipment depend on the project and are set out before it starts.
- Payment
- For completed work. Scope, time and payment terms are agreed before you begin.
- Contract
- The application asks whether you can work as an independent contractor where you live.
We match people to upcoming projects. Applying does not guarantee an assignment.

Can quality inspectors make money training AI?
Yes. This role pays $50–70/hr, depending on experience, for part-time project work on a computer. You define inspection criteria and review robot measurements and calls in simulation. Scope, hours and payment terms are agreed before each project starts.
Are there remote jobs for QC inspectors?
Floor inspection isn't remote, but this is. Most contributions happen on a computer. Timing and equipment depend on the project and are set out before it starts.
Will robots replace quality inspectors?
Vision systems already catch simple defects. Deciding what matters, handling borderline parts and setting the criteria still take an inspector, and robots learn from that judgement.
Do I need robotics or coding experience?
No. Each project gives you the instructions and controls for the task. We need your knowledge of the work.
How do I apply?
Fill in the application. It takes about 5 minutes and asks about your experience, your hours and one mistake a beginner makes in your work that you would spot right away. When a project needs your expertise, we reach out.
