The work

What physical therapists do in simulation.

We build the task in simulation. You show how it is done, correct the robot where it goes wrong and set what counts as done right. Robotics teams train their own models on the result.

01

Demonstrate

Show how you would set up and guide a transfer or assisted walk, including hand placement and pacing.

02

Correct robot mistakes

Review robot assists and flag what would hurt or destabilise a patient, such as pulling on a joint, the wrong base of support or moving too fast.

03

Set the criteria

Define what a safe, complete assist looks like and when the robot should stop and wait.

Can physical therapists make money training AI?

Yes. This role pays $90–120/hr, depending on experience, for part-time project work on a computer. You define assisted transfer and mobility tasks and review robot assists in simulation. Scope, hours and payment terms are agreed before each project starts.

Are there remote jobs for physical therapists outside telehealth?

Yes. This is one. You work on a computer and apply your clinical knowledge to how robots assist people. Timing and equipment depend on the project and are set out before it starts.

Will robots replace physical therapists?

No. Evaluating a patient and planning their care is clinical work. Robots are being built to help with lifting and support, and therapists should set the rules for doing that safely.

Do I need robotics or coding experience?

No. Each project gives you the instructions and controls for the task. We need your knowledge of the work.

How do I apply?

Fill in the application. It takes about 5 minutes and asks about your experience, your hours and one mistake a beginner makes in your work that you would spot right away. When a project needs your expertise, we reach out.
