What sonographers do in simulation.
We build the task in simulation. You show how it is done, correct the robot where it goes wrong and set what counts as done right. Robotics teams train their own models on the result.
Demonstrate
Show probe placement, angle and sweep for a scan, using the controls provided.
Correct robot mistakes
Pick up from the point where a robot's scan went wrong, such as a poor window or the wrong plane, and show what you would do instead.
Set the criteria
Say what makes a scan usable: which views are needed, what image quality is enough and when to rescan.

Can sonographers make money training AI?
Yes. This role pays $85–110/hr, depending on experience, for part-time project work on a computer. You demonstrate probe positioning and review robot scans in simulation. Scope, hours and payment terms are agreed before each project starts.
Can sonographers work remotely?
Scanning patients can't be done from home, but this work can. Most contributions happen on a computer. Timing and equipment depend on the project and are set out before it starts.
Will robots replace sonographers?
Not any time soon. Scanning means reading anatomy that differs from patient to patient and adjusting as you go, and robots are a long way from doing that on their own. What they learn now is shaped by whoever teaches them. We think that should include the people who know the work.
Do I have to leave clinical work?
No. The work is part-time. You tell us how many hours a week you can give when you apply.
Do I need robotics or coding experience?
No. Each project gives you the instructions and controls for the task. We need your knowledge of the work.
